Soithampton woman gets life for murder
37 year old killed mother-in-law with rolling pin.
A Hampshire woman found guilty of murdering her mother-in-law with a rolling pin, has been jailed for life.
37 year old Rajvinder Kaur from Portswood will serve a minimum of 11 years in prison.
56 year old Baljit Kaur Buttar died after suffering multiple blows to the head, in February last year.
She'd been visiting from India and was due to return home two days later.
A jury at Winchester Crown Court had found Rajvinder Kaur guilty of murder by unanimous verdict, yesterday (Wednesday 19th July).
