E-fit of attacker released, after assault behind beach hut.

A man's been seriously sexually assaulted behind a beach hut in Bournemouth.

The happened near cliffs at Shelley Park in Boscombe about 12.50 on Wednesday morning.

The victim, a local Bournemouth man, has described the offender as aged between 35 and 40 years, of large build, and had his hair tied up in a pony tail. He was wearing grey jogging bottoms.

Detective Constable James Batty, of Bournemouth & Poole CID, said: "Following further enquiries, I am now able to release an e-fit of the man we believe is responsible for this serious sexual assault.

"This was a particularly nasty attack on a man while he walked home.

"I would urge anyone who recognises this man to contact Police as soon as possible.”

"Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or anybody acting strangely near cliffs at Shelley Park at the time is urged to dial 101 in confidence.”

Anyone who witnessed this incident, or anyone who has any information that may assist the investigation, should contact Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident 02;16 or Crime stoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
