Trevor Birch has given Portpin and the Pompey Supporters Trust more time to buy the club.
Pompey administrator Trevor Birch has granted the Supporters Trust and Balram Chanrai's company Portpin more time to buy the club.
It's after he set a deadline of yesterday for both parties to finalise their bids
However the administrator issued a statement last night that said that neither prospective owner is in a position to complete a purchase at the moment.
Mr Birch went on to say that given a short period of time both the supporters trust and Portpin are capable of concluding a deal though.
No new deadline for the sale of the club to be completed by has been announced.
