Detectives investigating a robbery in West Moors have released three pictures of a man they would like to speak with.

A man's threatened a member of staff with a knife at a Ladbrokes betting shop near Ferndown in Dorset before making off with a wad of cash.

It happened at around ten to seven on Wednesday evening in West Moors.

Officers have released CCTV images of a man police want to speak to.

Detective Constable, Lee James, of Eastern CID, said,

“I am now able to release CCTV images of the man I wish to speak with.

“I urge the man pictured – and anyone who recognises him – to contact me, in confidence, as soon as possible.

“I also would like to hear from anyone who saw this man enter or leave the premises around the time of the incident.”

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting crime number 26:423. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
