Over 1,700 acres of historic Dorset land are on the market
A rare chance to own part of Dorset's most exclusive coastline has been made available.
Over 1,700 acres of land that make up the Canford Estate have been put up for sale for £10 million.
The portfolio includes two farms, with residential property, agricultural land, protected heathland, coniferous and broadleaf woodland, Lychett Bay and Holes Bay mudflats, and part of the foreshore around the Sandbanks Peninsular.
Estate agents Savills have made the land available as a whole or in 9 main lots with sub-lots.
The deadline for bids is Wednesday 25th July 2012
David Cross, Director of Savills in Salisbury, says "The sale of The Canford Portfolio is extremely unusual and complex, involving differing land types from allotments to potential development sites, foreshore and even mudflats. Much of the land is disjointed and covers a large area so it is unlikely but not impossible that the property will be sold as a whole and therefore we expect keen interest from a wide variety of different purchasers for such an unusual disposal of properties".
